AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season

In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden sect.

The mission centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to several objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Newest Free Story Addition

This update also introduces the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery."
